São Paulo (Reuters) – Planting of the 2025/2026 soybean harvest in Brazil reached 47% of the projected area as of last Thursday (30/11), compared to 36% recorded a week earlier and 54% a year ago, according to a survey by AgRural released this Monday.
The consultancy said that oilseed sowing lost momentum last week due to irregular rainfall, with greater concern in the Cerrado.
“Although cases of replanting are still occasional, they could increase if the combination of irregular rain and heat continues to prevail in the coming days,” stated AgRural.
