Members of the city of São Paulo who had been sidelined during the municipal campaign last year returned to join the party. Last Saturday (1st), a meeting in São Paulo marked the reconciliation.
The approximately 120 leaders are from the group led by the former president of the party in the capital Fernando Alfredo.
Last year, they supported the re-election of Mayor Ricardo Nunes (MDB) and were against the official Tucano candidate, who received just 1.84% of the votes.

Linked to Paulo Serra, president of the state directory and former mayor of Santo André, he succeeded former senator José Aníbal, one of the last historical members of the PSDB and Alfredo’s disaffection.
According to party members, the PSDB is now unified in its support for Nunes and also has a good relationship with the Tarcisio de Freitas government (Republicans), although Serra is presenting himself as a pre-candidate for Palácio dos Bandeirantes next year.
