Since Tuesday, Lafarge, its former president Bruno Lafont and seven other managers have been on trial in Paris for “terror financing.” The accusation is serious: While Western countries, including France, were waging war against IS, Lafarge is said to have come to an agreement with the terrible terrorist militia so that the Jalabiya plant in the Syrian province of Aleppo could continue to operate.
