The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) briefly restricted operations at Washington’s Ronald Reagan Airport on Tuesday due to a bomb threat. TASR informs about it according to AFP reports.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said in a post on the X social network that the bomb was reported on a United Airlines flight from Houston. “The plane landed safely at DCA (Ronald Reagan Airport, note TASR), passengers were evacuated and authorities conducted a full search of the plane,” the minister wrote. Shortly after that, the airport resumed operations in normal mode. Footage from the scene showed the plane moving along the runway accompanied by several police cars.
