O TSE (Superior Electoral Court) scheduled for this Tuesday (4) the analysis of the process of creating the party “Mission“, linked to MBL (Free Brazil Movement).
The request for registration of the new party is reported by the minister André Mendonça and is the first item on the agenda for today’s session, scheduled for 7pm.
In order for the party to be able to launch candidates in the next elections, it is necessary that the registration of its statutes be formalized up to six months before the election. Registration with the TSE also guarantees the party access to resources from the Party Fund and free electoral propaganda on radio and television.
Among its main objectives, the party defends the “end of civil service privileges”, the “toughening of criminal laws”, the “industrialization of the Northeast” and the “war against drug trafficking”.
The founder of MBL, Renan Santos, has positioned himself as a possible candidate for the Presidency of the Republic. According to the most recent survey by the Real Time Big Data institute, he appears with 2% of voting intentions.

To reach this milestone, the party needed to comply with a series of legal requirements, including the preparation of its program and statute, obtaining legal personality and formal registration at the Civil Registry Office of Brasília.
Currently, Brazil has 29 political parties and 24 parties in the process of formation.
