On social media, users reported problems connecting to the desktop version of the messaging application. On X, posts in Portuguese, English and Spanish talk about the difficulty in accessing the platform, which presents errors in several countries.
O site which monitors problems in applications, shows that the peak of problems began at 10:56 am, Brasília time. The peak of user notifications occurred at 11:30 am, with 4,416 reports indicating problems.
The main errors highlighted are failures in connecting via QR Code, sending blank messages and contacts.
Meta, owner of Whatsapp, did not inform the origin of the instability. There is still no forecast of a return to normality.
