Swedish fashion retailer H&M, which arrived in Brazil this year, announced this Tuesday, the 4th, the opening of its fourth store in the country, which will be located in Shopping Morumbi, in the south zone of the city of São Paulo.
The new space, measuring 700 square meters, will be dedicated exclusively to the fast fashion chain’s women’s collections.
The location will open on November 19th.

According to the brand, the opening of the store at Shopping Morumbi will see a line forming from 8am, with the distribution of shopping vouchers worth up to R$500 and gifts.
“We are proud to close 2025 with four stores open and 450 employees and what we started this year will continue in 2026, with the four new stores we recently announced in Rio de Janeiro, Sorocaba and two in Rio Grande do Sul”, says Joaquim Pereira, manager of H&M Brasil.
The brand’s debut in the Brazilian market took place in August this year, with stores at Shopping Iguatemi and Shopping Anália Franco, in the capital of São Paulo, in addition to the launch of national e-commerce. The chain has also opened a store in Campinas, in the interior of SP, at Shopping Parque Dom Pedro.
Growth potential
In H&M’s quarterly report, released in September and covering the period from June to August this year, the company states that the first store in Brazil was “very well received” by customers.
And he stated that he sees “good growth potential both in Brazil and elsewhere in Latin America”. The document points to a 40% increase in global operating profit in the period, to 4.91 billion Swedish kronor.
H&M aims to expand in Latin America. The brand, founded in 1947 and today with stores in 79 countries, already operates in 12 nations in the region.

In addition to arriving in Brazil, the chain recently opened its first store in El Salvador, via franchise. There are also plans to open a first unit in Venezuela later this year and one in Paraguay in 2026.
