The minister of the (Federal Supreme Court) met this Tuesday (4) with the president of , (-AP). The meeting, which lasted just over an hour, was not on the official agendas. Alcolumbre limited himself to telling the press that “we are certainly about security”.
After the meeting, the president of the Senate released a note stating that “actions to combat organized crime were discussed, in addition to the use of technologies to combat crime in Brazil.”
“President Alcolumbre reaffirmed the National Congress’ commitment to contributing, in a responsible and democratic manner, with legislative solutions to strengthen public security and protect the lives of Brazilians”, he stated, also highlighting the installation of the .
Moraes is the current rapporteur of the , a decision that imposes a series of rules on the company’s actions to prevent illegalities and abuses. The action was under the care of the recently retired minister.

Like , Moraes told interlocutors that the meeting was good and productive. According to Moraes’ report, Castro and members of his security team presented all the data he requested.
The Army commander, General Tomás Paiva, arrived at the Senate when the meeting was underway, but spoke alone with Alcolumbre afterwards.
