The still popular singer Peter Nagy (66) is a passionate traveler. The legend of the Slovak music scene saw with his own eyes popular destinations in Europe, but also exotic resorts. Looking at his social networks, it is clear that the musician is literally drawn to sun-drenched beaches. In an interview for the magazine, he revealed whether he could choose one for life from the many countries he visited.
Similar thoughts swirl in the head of perhaps every traveler, but the legendary singer takes a very rational approach to such a possibility. “I have to warn people about the so-called vacation syndrome. When you arrive at a destination, everything seems like a fairy tale, everything is fine. Because you have money, services are paid and everyone around you is oscillating to make you feel good.” emphasized Nagy.
“Many say that it would be possible to live here, and I say: Try knocking on the job office and you will see, it is not easy.” adds. “I played in America, Australia and Great Britain for our compatriots, and when I finished playing, I talked to people who had either emigrated or were working there legally. Living in a different country, using a different language and trying to make a name for yourself is very difficult,” reminds everyone who wears rose-colored glasses.
Nagy has many fans in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, so it is no surprise that he spends a lot of time with our neighbors. But he cannot say whether he would go to live abroad. „It’s hard to say, now I liked Poland most recently. I was in Krakow and they are so ours because they are Slavs. I will not talk about exotic destinations where we travel for sun and sea. If I had to choose, I would travel for understanding, so it would definitely be some Slavic state, definitely Bohemia or Poland.” he said bluntly.
