Micky van de Ven had an unforgettable moment in the Champions League. Tottenham’s central defender scored a goal worthy of Maradona by crossing the entire field with the ball under control, leaving several opponents behind before finishing with class and power.
The move came in the 64th minute, in the duel between Tottenham and Copenhagen. After a cut from the Portuguese João Palhinha, the Dutchman started from his own area, dribbled past whoever appeared in front of him and shot beyond goalkeeper Dominik Kotarski, making it 3-0 for the Londoners.
van de Ven caught the ball at the edge of his own area and only saw the goal in front 😱😱😱
