Two people sit opposite each other and ask each other questions like: “When was the last time you cried?” or “What are you grateful for in your life?” – after 36 questions they should fall in love with each other. The experiment that the US psychologist Arthur Aron developed around 30 years ago sounds so simple. The scientist wanted to find out whether feelings of love can also be created artificially, for example by talking to strangers about intimate and profound things.
