The property, located on Rua Muru, in the João Alves neighborhood, was engulfed in flames and ended up completely consumed. No family furniture or belongings could be saved. As soon as the situation was communicated, teams from Social Assistance and Municipal Civil Defense were on site to offer immediate support, qualified listening and guidance on possible measures within municipal public policies.
Of Andressa’s four children, three participate in the Coexistence and Strengthening of Bonds Service (SCFV) and the youngest is accompanied by the Happy Child Program (PCF), initiatives maintained by the City Hall that focus on strengthening families and caring for children in vulnerable situations.
With the benefit of social rent, municipal management seeks to guarantee the family a safe space to start over, while receiving support from the municipality’s social protection network.
