According to police records, Paulo Frateschi was rescued at Hospital das Clínicas, but did not resist; Francisco Frateschi, who was ‘in a moment of outbreak’ was detained
The former deputy of died this Thursday (6) after being stabbed in his home. According to police records, military police were called to respond to a stabbing incident.
When they arrived at the scene, they found Frateschi lying in the kitchen, with a wound to his abdomen. Preliminary information indicates that the author of the attack was his own son, who acted during an outbreak.
The victim’s mother, Iolanda Maux, was also attacked and suffered a broken arm, and was rescued. Frateschi was taken to Hospital das Clínicas, but he succumbed to his injuries. The former parliamentarian’s son was detained.
Former state president of the PT and personal friend of former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Paulo had already experienced two family tragedies. In 2002, he lost his son Pedro, aged 7, in an accident on the Carvalho Pinto highway, in Guararema (SP). A year later, in 2003, his son Júlio, aged 16, also died in a car accident on the Rio-Santos highway, between Paraty and Angra dos Reis.
