A CPMI (Mixed Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry) of the INSS (National Social Security Institute) expects to hear, this Thursday (5), the former Minister of Labor and Social Security Onyx Lorenzoni. The session is scheduled for 9 am and will include, in addition to the hearing, the consideration of applications.
during the government of Jair Bolsonaro (PL). Deputies and senators should question the former minister about what he saw at the head of the ministry and whether he was aware of the scandal of undue discounts on retirement and pensions.
A CNN found that last Tuesday (5) Onyx Lorenzoni was in the Senate and met with Rogério Marinho (PL-RN), one of the members of CPMI.
The collegiate has already received former ministers José Carlos Oliveira e Carlos Lupi. The CPMI reached an agreement between the opposition and government officials to invite all former ministers who have been in charge of the department since 2015.
Requirements
The commission still has on its agenda the consideration of more than 180 requests. There is representation on the list of preventive detention, for example, against Felipe Macedo Gomes, former president of ABCB (Amar Brasil Clube de Benefícios), and businessman Domingos Sávio de Castro, both heard by CPMI.
It is also foreseen the consideration of a request for confrontation between the businessman Antônio Carlos Camilo Antuneso “INSS Bald“, and the lawyer Eli Cohen.
There is also a request asking for precautionary measures, such as seizure of the passports of those being investigated who had a request for arrest approved by the CPMI of the INSS.
