Junts announces that the legislature is “blocked” because it will oppose all the laws presented by the Government
Junts spokesperson in Congress, Miriam Nogueras, announced in a press conference that her party will oppose all the laws presented by the Government and that, therefore, “Pedro Sánchez’s legislature is blocked.”
Nogueras regretted that after putting an “end to the collaboration and negotiation” between the Government and Junts, the president has not appeared “to give an explanation of how he plans to govern without this necessary majority.” Junts reminds the Government that without its support they will not be able to carry out new laws or approve budgets “unless they agree with PP and Vox.” “At Junts we always said that there would be no stability in the Government if Catalonia was not respected and the needs of the Catalans were not respected,” Nogueras added.
