Vienna/Quebec – A treasure of the Habsburg imperial family that has been missing for 100 years has turned up in Canada. Among them is the legendary yellow diamond “Florentine,” the German news magazine “Der Spiegel” reported on Thursday. “The ‘Florentine’ is lying in a bank safe deposit box in Canada along with other pieces of family jewelry,” said family head Karl Habsburg. These and other rediscovered pieces are now to be exhibited in Canada.
