“By next Friday, the Chamber will announce the decision on the Ministry of Justice project that deals with combating criminal factions, in addition to two other proposals that equate these crimes with terrorism. Next week, we will face this agenda”, he said this Wednesday (5).

PT leader, the deputy (RJ) stated that Forte’s initiative to request the joining is “a childish provocation”.
“The two proposals deal with completely different phenomena and his proposal does not contribute anything to the real fight against organized crime or to the concrete security of the population”, he published.
Forte’s proposal will be reported by the Secretary of Public Security of São Paulo, (PP), who will temporarily resume his mandate in the Chamber to vote on the project.
The anti-faction project does not have a rapporteur defined by Motta, which should also be done by the end of the week.

At the same event that Motta participated in, Gilmar Mendes told journalists that “there is a lot of bravado” and an “excess of politicization” on the topic of the anti-faction project.
“We will be able to resolve this issue. We resolved serious problems during the Bolsonaro government, the very threat to democracy. We need to have focus and priorities,” he stated.
