The Uruguayan striker was suspended for one game this Wednesday (5) by the Major League Soccer (MLS) Disciplinary Committee for violent conduct. As a result, the player will be absent from the in the decisive match against Nashville SC, valid for the first round of the American League playoffs. The punishment refers to a move that occurred in the 36th minute of the second half of the second game of the series, when Suárez kicked defender Andy Nájar in an attack play. The Uruguayan did not receive a card during the match, won by Nashville 2-1.
