Tiririca is in his fourth term. In his first election, in 2010, he was the most voted federal deputy in the country, with more than 1.3 million votes.
The affiliation was attended by federal deputy Domingos Neto (PSD-CE) and the party’s state president, Domingos Filho.
“It is an immense happiness to be back in my Ceará and, God willing, we will have a sensational mandate now with the support of the PSD,” said Tiririca, according to a party statement.
