This is not to belittle the team or the friendlies, but to recognize that these games, although important, are not decisive.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti called up seven athletes who play in Brazil for the friendlies against Senegal and Tunisia

Carlo Ancelotti’s name resonates like few others in world football. With an enviable CV, Italian is synonymous with competence, strategy and achievements. Therefore, since the announcement of his arrival in the Brazilian National Team, I have always maintained that his high status made him more suitable for a role as technical director, someone with the vision to structure the team’s project, choosing the ideal coach, regardless of nationality. I said this on the day he was announced as coach of the national team, but, well, the page has turned!

Now, let’s return to the present. The Brazilian Championship is on fire! The competition is experiencing a moment of pure emotion, with a dramatic fight for positions in the table: the title being disputed point by point, places in the Libertadores and Sudamericana at stake, millionaire prizes on the agenda and the dreaded specter of relegation haunting some clubs.

It’s a high tension scenario, where every game, every point, makes a difference. And that’s exactly why I’m here to make an appeal to Professor Ancelotti: release the players called up, who play in Brazil, for the friendlies against Senegal and Tunisia!

Vitor Roque, Danilo, Alex Sandro, Luciano Juba, Paulo Henrique, Fabrício Bruno and Hugo Souza are important players in their clubs, and their absences at such a crucial moment in the Brasileirão could unbalance the competition.

This is not to belittle the team or the friendlies, but to recognize that these games, although important, are not decisive for the future of the national team.

The Brazilian team will not suffer any significant loss with the release of these athletes, while the national championship will gain in competitiveness and balance.

Common sense and caution must prevail. There is still time to make this decision, which would be a gesture of respect for Brazilian fans, passionate about the Brasileirão, and for the clubs that fight tooth and nail for their goals.

I’m sure that, deep down, Ancelotti understands the importance of this. He, more than anyone, knows that Brazilian football lives from its domestic league, the emotion it provides and the connection with the fans.

Friendlies against Senegal and Tunisia will not define the team’s fate. The Brasileirão, on the other hand, is at a defining moment. Release the players, professor! It’s good for the championship, for the clubs and, above all, for Brazilian football.
