Corinthians reported, in the early afternoon of this Friday (7), that midfielder Raniele suffered an injury to the adductor muscle of his right leg, confirmed after an image examination.
The player was substituted in the first half of the match against RB Bragantino last Wednesday (5), and now becomes an absence for Dorival Júnior’s team. Timão did not disclose the estimated time for the athlete’s recovery.
With Raniele’s injury, he has the options of midfielders Charles, Maycon and Ryan, who can form a duo with José Martínez. It is worth remembering that Charles and Martínez were sent off against RB Bragantino and, for this reason, are suspended for the São Paulo club’s next game, against Ceará, on Sunday (9), in the Brasileirão.
Another information released by Corinthians this Friday (7) says that the attacker has begun a period of physical transition. He underwent arthroscopy on his right knee on October 6th and is recovering from the surgery.
