The CPI (Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry) on Organized Crime will not be held next week due to the conference on the (United Nations).

This is because both the president of the CPI, senator Fabiano Contarato (PT-ES), and the rapporteur, senator Alessandro Vieira (MDB-SE) will participate in the event, which takes place in (PA).

It was installed on Tuesday (4).

During the first hearing, senator Alessandro Vieira proposed the division of work into thematic topics: territorial domain; money laundering; prison system; active and passive in all sectors; routes for transporting illicit goods.

In addition to crimes committed by factions (weapons trafficking, smuggling, tax evasion, theft, embezzlement, digital crimes); need for integration of bodies, with emphasis on the routes used by factions; in addition to crime prevention and repression measures and, finally, budget.

There are already 38 approved invitations, among the names are , Minister of Justice; José Múcio, Minister of Defense; Andrei Rodrigues, general director of ; and Luiz Fernando Corrêa, general director of Abin (Brazilian Intelligence Agency). In addition to governors, security secretaries, security experts and journalists.
