Kazakhstan joins Trump’s Abraham Accords

According to several media reports, Kazakhstan wants to join the Abraham Accords with Israel. The portal wrote first Axios about the project, and a little later anonymous officials also confirmed the plan to other media. US President Donald Trump’s adviser, Steve Witkoff, had previously vaguely announced that “a country” would join the agreements on Thursday. The move is more symbolic in nature; Kazakhstan has had full diplomatic relations with Israel for several decades. But it should provide new dynamics in the process surrounding the Abraham Accords.
