It all happened when the person in charge reprimanded the candidate for not having published promotional content on social media. In front of dozens of competitors, she raised her voice, ordered them to shut up and even called security, even threatening to expel anyone who supported her.

Miss Mexico left the venue in tears, followed by several contestants, including the current Miss Universe, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, who openly criticized the organizer’s behavior, stating: “This is about women’s rights. Humiliating another woman is unacceptable.”
Video of the incident quickly spread across social media and forced the director to retract. Nawat tearfully apologized, saying, “If anyone felt bad, uncomfortable or affected, I apologize to everyone, especially the contestants present.”

The Miss Universe Organization condemned the episode, accusing the Thai of “lack of respect” and “intimidation”, and guaranteed that his participation will be “reduced to the minimum possible” in this edition of the contest.
