New phase of PF operation in Acre targets suspect of storing child pornography videos

The Federal Police launched, this Friday (7), the second phase of Operation Guardian of Innocence, this time in the municipality of Tarauacá, in the interior of Acre.

The action investigates crimes related to the acquisition and storage of photos and videos of child sexual abuse over the internet.

During the operation, a search and seizure warrant issued by the Federal Court was executed. The suspect is suspected of storing media with scenes of sexual abuse involving children and adolescents.

“Given the facts, the investigation continues with the analysis of the seized material, including to identify possible others involved in criminal practices”, informed the Federal Police.

Last Thursday (5), another man began to be investigated for the same type of crime in Cruzeiro do Sul, as part of the first phase of the operation. He is accused of sharing illegal content in a WhatsApp group with more than 600 participants.
