The Netherlands has officially defeated the centrist pro-European party D66. At the head of the party is Rob Jetten, who may become the youngest and first openly gay prime minister in the history of the Netherlands.
The Dutch Electoral Commission on Friday officially declared the social liberal party D66, led by Rob Jetten, as the winner of last week’s parliamentary elections. At the age of 38, Jetten will probably become the youngest prime minister in the history of the Netherlands.
