China promises to continue supplying the EU with Nexperia chips for civilian purposes

Shanghai/Nijmegen – According to EU Trade Commissioner Maros Šefcovic, there is encouraging progress in the dispute over a lack of chip deliveries from Nexperia, an important supplier to the auto industry. As Šefcovic announced, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce confirmed this Saturday to the European Commission that export procedures for Nexperia chips will be further simplified.
