Damares Alves on Marcio Bittar and Mara Rocha on the ticket with Alan: “It’s a dream”

During a press conference this Saturday morning (8), at Rio Branco International Airport, senator Damares Alves (Republicanos-DF) reaffirmed her support for the party’s political project in Acre and highlighted that the state is a key player in the party’s national plans.

Asked about the composition of the future majority ticket, Damares was direct in commenting on the possibility of a “double” involving senator Márcio Bittar and deputy Mara Rocha, pre-candidate for the Senate for the Republicans, in support of pre-candidate for the government Alan Rick.

“It’s a dream. It’s a dream that this State is legitimately conservative, because we, conservatives, have a proposal for this State. And of course, this conversation is happening behind the scenes, and if I can be a bridge for this to happen, I will be”, he stated.

The senator highlighted the growth of the Republicans on the national scene and highlighted the role of the acronym in leadership positions, such as the presidency of the Chamber of Deputies and in highly rated state governments.

“The Republicans have plans for this state. It is the party that has the president of the Federal Chamber, the best rated governor in the country, and extremely well rated mayors. We have a republican way of governing and a plan for Brazil, of which Alan Rick is part”, he said.

Damares also reinforced his confidence in Alan Rick’s name to lead Acre, praising his trajectory and commitment to the development and defense of life.

“Acre needs a governor with a project of development, public security and protection of human life. Alan has a history of delivering. I was friends with him long before I was a senator and I have had a political connection with Acre for over 20 years. He is the right candidate”, he added.

The senator concluded her speech by stating that the Republicans have a project of “development and victory” for the state, demonstrating enthusiasm for the party’s new phase and Alan Rick’s pre-candidacy for government.
