Legendary singer Dara Rollins has been experiencing a period full of intensive work in recent months. She is preparing several new releases, which forces her to constantly commute between Slovakia and the Czech Republic, where she has the most loyal fans. Her busy schedule includes rehearsals, recordings and concert preparations, which keeps her constantly in the center of musical events.
It’s no secret that the well-known blonde has been living with our neighbors for many years, where she quickly settled in. “Beautiful day from Prague. From the address of one of my homes. When I was little, my mother and I drove here so often that after a while it made the only sense to move here. We put down roots here with my older sister Janka, gave birth to children, survived and are living a happy life.” explained the reasons why she decided to live in the Czech Republic.
However, she definitely did not resent her native country. “And every time I return to my beloved Bratislava, I realize that what I am, WHO I am, where I am… is only thanks to the fact that Slovakia raised me,” stressed the native of Bratislava, who still feels at home in our region.
Crossing the border, one cannot avoid many memories. “I never forget and I still love the places to which I am drawn by the most beautiful memories from my childhood. My family, that’s where I come from. I like it when I come across someone “from us” in the world and that there are many of us. I don’t forget our “Czechoslovak” mind, talent, courage not to get lost,” she highlighted the strengths of Slovaks, including herself.
He is looking forward to the upcoming events all the more. “I am always regularly proud of my home, a place to which I return non-stop with a smile, and in a few days I plan to prove it to you live… On November 7 and 8, we’ll see you in Bratislava’s Nepel, pack your good mood and dancing shoes,” she enthusiastically told her fans.
