Fertilizers Heringer increased its net loss by 43.7% in the third quarter of this year, to R$13.096 million, compared to a net loss of R$9.115 million in the same period in 2024.
During the period, the Ebitda (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) was negative at R$2.191 million, 6.1% higher than the R$2.064 million recorded in the third quarter of 2024. The results were released late Friday night (7).
I and net revenue grew 1.1% on the same comparative basis, going from R$1.506 billion in the third quarter of 2024 to R$1.523 billion at the end of the third quarter of this year.
“The increase in the prices of raw materials on the international market during 2025 caused there to be a increase of around 1.1% in revenue in 3Q25 even in the face of a reduction of around 16% in volumes deliveredwhich corroborated a reduction of around 3% in the nine months of 2025 compared to the same period of the previous year”, said the company in the statement to investors.
Also in the statement to investors, the company highlighted that Ebitda, although still negative in the nine accumulated months of 2025 at R$74.996 million, “demonstrates recovery when compared to the same periods in 2024”.
Deliveries – The volume of fertilizers delivered by Heringer in the third quarter of this year fell 16.4% compared to the third quarter of 2024, from 696 thousand tons to 582 thousand tons, a drop of 114 thousand tons in one year.
Coffee, soy and corn crops represented 79% of everything delivered by Heringer in the quarter. “The diversity of deliveries by crop during this period was maintained”, stated Heringer in the statement.
Deliveries of fertilizers for soybean crops increased from 134 thousand tons to 186 thousand tons in the period, while the volume delivered for corn fell from 70 thousand tons to 62 thousand tons on the same comparative basis and that of coffee went from 290 thousand tons to 208 thousand tons.
There was also a reduction in the delivery of fertilizers for sugarcane from 63 thousand tons to 47 thousand tons in the third quarter of this year.
In the mix of products delivered in the third quarter of this year, Heringer delivered 443 thousand tons of conventional fertilizers compared to 587 thousand tons in the same period last year. Of premium fertilizers, the company delivered 139 thousand tons compared to 109 thousand tons in the third quarter of 2024.
