The announced this Saturday (8) the renewal of the contract with the midfielder until December 2028. The agreement, signed on Friday, also provides for the automatic extension of the contract for another season, upon achievement of goals. “It’s one of the happiest news of my career. I always wanted to stay at Flamengo and continue writing this story”, said the 31-year-old Uruguayan, who arrived at the club in 2019. “I have a lot of gratitude to the Nation, which has always supported me, and I want to continue giving back on the field. The focus now is on the final stretch of the season, but Flamengo has always been my priority”, he added.
