Prodam, a technology company owned by City Hall, launches this Monday (10) offering city programs to other municipalities in the state and country.

and has already attracted the interest of around 100 municipalities, according to the company’s president, Francisco Forbes.

The first agreement was signed with the City of Florianópolis (SC), which was interested in implementing a local version of Smart Sampa, a security program using cameras that has become one of the main pillars of the management (MDB).

Nunes, who has been cited to run for governor of São Paulo next year, is betting on exporting programs from his administration to spread the reach of his name.

The new website has its own solutions and operational agreements with big techs such as Microsoft and Google. An advantage touted by Prodam is the fact that it is a mixed economy company, which eliminates the need for bidding.

“For the first time, a municipal public company takes the know-how accumulated in one of the largest metropolises in the world to other Brazilian cities, offering tested and proven tools on a large scale”, says Forbes.
