Deputy Guilherme Derrite (PP-SP) filed the opinion this Friday (7.Nov.2025) and proposes toughening penalties for criminal organizations
O rapporteur of , deputy (PP-SP), presented this Friday (7.Nov.2025) the preliminary opinion. The text seeks to establish a Legal Framework for combating organized crime in Brazil, with harsher penalties for members of criminal factions. The substitute proposes the functional equivalence of actions by criminal organizations, militias and paramilitary groups to crimes of “terrorism”with high penalties – with the possibility of 40 years in prison.
