The complete list of nominees for the Grammy 2026 was announced this Friday (7). This year, two South Korean artists make history at the awards.
Rosémember of Blackpink, and E.J.A.E.composer of “Golden”, from the soundtrack of the film, released by Netflix, have been dominating the Billboard charts since the release of their respective songs.
Rosé was nominated for her collaboration with Bruno Mars. In total, she received three nominations: Record of the Year, Song of the Year (two of the award’s most prestigious categories) and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
EJAE, author of “Golden”, the animation’s original song also received three nominations. The track is up for Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Song Written for Visual Media.
With this, the two artists become the first K-pop soloists to compete in the main categories of the Grammy Awards, the biggest music award in the world.
Before them, he had only been nominated, five times in total, competing in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category for three consecutive years — although he has not yet won a Grammy award.
