Doctors in the Gaza Strip said the person who died was killed by Israeli fire east of the Buraj refugee camp in the central part of the Palestinian enclave.

Local civil defense officials confirmed that one more Palestinian was shot as a result of an Israeli attack in the western part of the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli military did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The growing number of victims
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that 69,169 Palestinians have died and nearly 171,000 others have been injured since the conflict between Israel and Hamas began on October 7, 2023, according to the AP.
She said the latest increase was attributed to more bodies being found under the rubble since the October 10 ceasefire between the parties, as well as the identification of as-yet-unidentified bodies.
