The death of the digital influencer completes a week this Sunday (11/9) without the cause of death being discovered. The Civil Police are awaiting the results of expert reports to understand what could have killed the 31-year-old girl, found lifeless inside the home of a public defender in São Paulo, on November 2nd.
A states that the team from the 7th Police District of Lapa, responsible for the case, has been collecting statements and analyzing documents, records and images to advance the investigations. Bárbara, who referred to herself as an “inhuman doll”, had more than 54.5 thousand followers on her Instagram profile, where she posted about her lifestyle, her plastic surgeries, and her appearances in the press. Defender’s house
The influencer was found dead in the home of public defender Renato Campos Pinto de Vitto, aged 51. In a statement to the police, he said that he had hired the woman’s sexual services. She would have arrived at the property, on Rua Sepetiba, around 1 am on November 2, and stayed throughout the day, according to the police report.
During this period, the two used illicit substances, according to the defender’s report. He told authorities that Bárbara had coughed several times and later slept next to him while they both watched television. When he noticed that the woman was no longer moving, he called the Mobile Emergency Care Service () and followed the attendants’ recommendations.
The ambulance arrived at the scene and confirmed Bárbara’s death at 9:07 pm. The Military Police () were also called.

Military police officers who responded to the incident said that Bárbara had an injury to her eye and marks on her back. The woman was on her back and was only wearing panties.
A friend of the public defender, who was also at the house, told police officers that Bárbara slipped and fell around 4am on Sunday, hurting her left eye. The woman stated that she spent the day with the defender and the influencer, but was not there at the time of the death.
Defender away
Four days after the death, defender Renato Campos was removed from his duties at the Public Defender’s Office of the State of São Paulo (DPESP). The leave, according to DPESP, was requested by the employee himself, for medical reasons. The Public Defender’s Office lamented Bárbara’s death.
Investigations into the case, registered as sudden death, continue.
“Human Barbie”
Bárbara was known as “human Barbie” because she sought to bring her appearance closer to that of the Mattel doll. She said she had already had 27 plastic surgeries and, by 2023, she had spent approximately R$300,000 on this goal.
Among the aesthetic procedures performed by women are neck liposuction, eyebrow arching, buttock filling and nose thinning.
The young woman had already given a series of interviews about interventions on her body and said she wanted to feel “perfect” and be “like the doll”.
