“The website centralizes all information about how to study an MBA, with videos of students from each school to give context and help people make a decision,” said Gabriela Barbosa, co-president of the MBA Brasil Conference. The NGO promotes, between the 7th and 8th of November, at the MIT Media Lab, in Boston, the fourth edition of the event. This year, 300 Brazilian students will be present.

Henrique Duarte, co-president of the MBA Brasil Conference, reinforces the importance of expanding options for those who take the course and seek a position in large companies: “We want these people to know that there are a phenomenal number of companies in Brazil as viable options.”

Gabriela explains that MBA Brasil’s mission is to “democratize access to information”. It was from this need that the platform that connects interested students emerged: “There was no single place, one one stop shopwith all the information, from which schools to apply to to practical parts, how to get a letter of recommendation from your boss, for example.”

Thinking about access to financing, one of the challenges for those who want to study an MBA, the next step will be the launch of a scholarship by MBA Brasil, scheduled for next year, with no parameters yet defined. “The scholarship closes the cycle of offering all the necessary information and connecting this entire community”, stated the co-president.
