Soňa Müllerová (64) is for many Slovaks synonymous with elegance and selected fashion taste, with which he will shine at every public event. Favorite presenter never expressed much about social events in Slovakia, but today the situation is so tense that she made an exception. She revealed to the newspaper what she would like for the coming winter months.
“I would like the socio-political situation to calm down, to stop being so heated. I have a bad feeling about it, and I’m probably not alone. Despite not actively logging in or logging out, I think so what is happening is as extreme as I have ever experienced. It should be cleaned up somehow.” she said honestly.
He wants something similar for himself. “I wish I didn’t have to follow the political scene so much, so I wouldn’t have a reason to get upset and nervous about what’s happening here. So that I can focus more on my own things, and so that I am no longer tempted to watch news programs or political debates. I would rather watch art documentaries, which I enjoy much more,” she added.
Müller started her career in 1985 as a program announcer in Slovak Televisionwhere she quickly became a well-known and popular face. During the 1990s and the beginning of the 21st century, she hosted a number of shows on television and radio, not only in Slovakia, but also in the Czech Republic. Her cultured speech and natural charm won her a wide audience.
From 2000, she worked at Radio FM, later at Radio Slovakia, where she moderated her own shows such as Esprit and Fragile Relationships. In 2003, she won the prestigious OTO award as the best TV personality. She hosted her own talk show on JOJ TV, currently viewers can see her as a presenter of a lifestyle magazine Women’s club on STVR. In personal life she was married to the singer Richard Müller, with whom she has two children – son Filip and daughter Emma. Their marriage ended in divorce in 2001.
