Fighting moss does not have to mean large expenses or the use of strong chemicals. A cheap natural remedy can work wonders and restore a healthy, green appearance to the turf.
Baking soda is a cheap, safe and ecological product that has a wide range of uses at home and in the garden. Its alkaline reaction makes it perfectly resistant to moss, which prefers an acidic environment. When the soda solution hits the moss surface, it changes its pH and inhibits the growth of undesirable plants. Thanks to this, the moss stops growing and the lawn can regain its balance.
