Minister of the Federal Supreme Court José Antônio will assume the presidency of the Brasilia representation of the Association of Former Students of the Faculty of Law of USP, from 2026.
Graduated in 1991, Toffoli has a long relationship with the institution located in Largo de São Francisco, in the center of São Paulo.
He was director of the XI de Agosto Academic Center in the department responsible for free legal assistance and later represented former students in the college’s Congregation.
The association was founded in 1931 and adopts the term “old students” instead of “alumni”, as a way of reinforcing the permanent bond with the institution.
