São Paulo faces Bragantino this Saturday (9), at 5pm (Brasília time), in the 33rd round of the Brazilian Championship, in an unusual venue: Vila Belmiro, in Santos (SP). Tricolor had to transfer control of the field because Morumbis is temporarily unavailable due to the marathon of shows scheduled for the stadium this month.
The sequence of events began with performances by Imagine Dragons, on October 31st and November 1st, and will continue with big names such as Linkin Park, Dua Lipa and Oasis, which ends the series of shows on November 23rd. The intense schedule compromised the pitch and made it unfeasible to hold matches there.
Therefore, in addition to the games against Flamengo and Bragantino, São Paulo will also play against Juventude and Internacional na Vila, all valid for the final rounds of the Brasileirão. The last match of Hernán Crespo’s team at Morumbis was the 2-0 victory over Bahia, in the 30th round.
With Palmeiras and Flamengo competing for the Libertadores title — and both still in contention for the Brazilian Championship —, a new place in the continental competition could open up via the Brasileirão. Thus, São Paulo needs, at least, to reach seventh place to guarantee its presence in the 2026 Libertadores.
At 9pm there’s Tricolor on the field! Secure your place to support the team against Red Bull Bragantino, in Vila Belmiro, for the Brasileirão!
