Interstellar Comet 3I/Atlas suddenly appears blue next to the Sun


Rarely has a comet captured people’s imagination as much as the interstellar visitor 3I/Atlas. Since its discovery in the summer, researchers have been trying to learn as much as possible about the object, which is made of material from another solar system – material that can otherwise only be viewed from enormous distances.
