Portuguese representative at Eurovision sang the national anthem at MotoGP in Portimão

Iolanda, Portugal’s representative at the Eurovision 2024 Festival, performed the national anthem during the MotoGP Grand Prix of Portugal, which took place last weekend in Portimão.

The event was also marked by Miguel Oliveira’s farewell to the dance floor, but the singer’s moment brought emotion to the ceremony.

Winner of the 2024 Song Festival, Iolanda represented Portugal in Malmö with the song “Grito”. After finishing in 8th place in the semi-final, the Portuguese candidate reached 10th place in the Grand Final with 152 points, standing out as the favorite of the juries from the United Kingdom, France and Croatia.
