The Braga team, who had lost in the previous round at leaders FC Porto, returned to winning ways, with goals from Rodrigo Salazar, in the 13th minute, converting a penalty, and Ricardo Horta, in the 71st.
Despite the defeat, Moreirense, who reduced in the final minutes, by Maracás, at 82, remains in sixth place, with 18 points, two more than Sporting de Braga, who is seventh.
