The governor of , (Republicans), says that the state’s Secretary of Public Security, , will do “technical work” as rapporteur of the bill that combats organized crime in the Chamber of Deputies.
“Derrite is, above all, a great scholar on the subject of security. He will do technical work, so that a response can be given to this very serious problem that Brazilian society faces”, Tarcísio told the Panel during
Derrite is a licensed federal deputy and returned to office temporarily to report on the project. According to Tarcísio, he will be away from the secretariat “for as long as he needs” to complete the work.
This is because he is a Bolsonarist and takes a hard line against crime. The secretary must also be a candidate for the Senate next year.
He has already said that he intends to equate the penalties for crimes committed with criminal factions with those committed with terrorist groups.
