Apparently, the accident happened when one train collided with the back of another. Witnesses reported a “bang” sound at the time of the collision.

Two trains collided in Slovakia this Sunday night, about 20 kilometers from Bratislava, the country’s capital. Although there is no fatalities, The accident resulted in more than 130 injuries, of which 79 were hospitalized.

Around 800 people were traveling on the two trains, many of whom were students.

Apparently, the accident happened when one train collided with the back of another. Witnesses reported a “bang” sound at the time of the collision.

Initial investigations suggest that one of the trains did not stop at the red light, but the exact cause of the accident is still being determined by the authorities.
