US President Donald Trump celebrated through a post published on his own social network, Truth Social
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, recently said that the BBC changed its speech on January 6, 2021, the day of the invasion of the Capitol, and celebrated the dismissal of “very dishonest people who tried to influence a presidential election”.
“The top people at the BBC, including TIM DAVIE, the BOSS, are all resigning/FIRED because they were caught ‘altering’ my excellent (PERFECT!) speech on January 6th. On top of that, they are from a foreign country, which many consider to be our Number One Ally. What a terrible thing for Democracy!” the Republican wrote in Truth Social.
BBC news CEO Deborah Turness and the British broadcaster’s director general, Tim Davie, resigned from their positions this afternoon.
