The South Tyrolean won the Björn Borg group against Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime 7:5.6:1 on Monday evening and celebrated his 27th win in a row indoors. In the Jimmy Connors group of the final tournament of the best tennis players of the year, the American Taylor Fritz had previously won against the Italian local hero Lorenzo Musetti with 6:3,6:4.
