In a statement sent to the newsrooms, the board of directors of CNEMA – National Exhibition Center, organizer of the event, announced the cancellation of the exhibition that was to take place between November 29th and December 1st, in Santarém.
The cancellation was decided due to “exceptional conditions” and the “climate of uncertainty of the coming weeks in the context of Bird Flu”.

Therefore, it is essential that bird keepers “comply with biosecurity measures and good production practices, avoiding contact between domestic and wild birds”.
