Oscar suffered a cardiac arrhythmia this Tuesday (11), during a physical assessment at the club’s training center, which was monitored by Einstein’s own team, according to Casares.
The midfielder lost consciousness for a few seconds while performing a test on the exercise bike and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital in the capital of São Paulo.
He quickly regained consciousness and is in a stable condition, according to information published by Placar, but remains hospitalized in the ICU for observation and underwent a new series of tests.
People close to the player confirmed that the case requires caution and that there is a possibility that the midfielder may bring forward his retirement.
